Aside

What an experience!  So many compassionate and committed artists and volunteers created such a beautiful environment at the Panama Jazz Festival with over 20,000 attendees.  So happy to be a small part of it.  I hope you enjoy these clips from our concert in the Teatro Ateneo. Look for more stories and videos on Facebook

Panama Jazz Festival

Our trip to Panama is just around the corner!  From January 14-19 I’ll be at the annual Jazz Festival to soak up a lot of wonderful music and to present a concert of my songs and a workshop on folk music of Chile and North America. Both José Puentes and I will be traveling from Pittsburgh to perform with guitarist Rodrigo Invernizzi, percussionist Ella Ponce, saxophonist Patricia Zárate, pianist Orión Morales and others.  I’m so excited to  hear Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Danilo Pérez and Susana Baca!  Many thanks to the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council for their support of this project!
